Quest 3 Mic Issues with SteamVR

I don't know where else to look... I have to set my input and output gain in Steam settings to max in order for me to make it past 5 on the threshold for voice activation in VRChat. But if I do that, then my mic plays back to me in my Oculus Quest 3 sound and I can barely talk because I'm hearing a delayed replay of my voice in my ears. I want to just use my headset mic, but I also can't get audio from my Quest 3 to my headset. So I'm really at a loss.

Is it possible to get your own headset to work in Steam VR using the Quest 3? I am getting frustrated trying to get the mic working on the Quest and I am super not familiar with Meta's software/ I'm tearing my hair out trying to troubleshoot it because I can't tell where the issue lies when I've got different settings for my PC, the Quest headset itself, SteamVR, and VRChat.

I recently just put this computer together about a month ago, and wasn't experiencing this issue on the old system. I don't remember what the settings on that system looked like unfortunately, otherwise I'd reference those to make sure everything was the same.
