Base station 1.0 tracking issue. (It worked fine before)
Hello.

I'd like to ask you because there is a problem with using vr.

I'm using the first generation of Vibe, and I've used vr without any problems before.

However, after using vr for about a month or two, an error occurred when I tried it again.

vr environments are all the same.

(The factors such as the distance between base stations, obstacles to block the sensor, etc. are the same as before, so I don't think it's the cause of the problem.)

A phenomenon occurred in which the vr headset screen looks only white. (or gray?)

Several attempts have been made to address this symptom.

Computer reboot, unplugging hdmi and usb ports.

Update controllers, base stations, etc. by wire.

Remove steam vr and reinstall.

Update graphics card.

Check software for possible crashes.

Clear usb insertion history.

Initializing vr headsets and base stations etc.

and I've confirmed that there is no problem with the audio of the Vibe headset.

There seems to be no problem with the base station, the headset, and each of the controllers.

The icons of Steamvr are all fine too.

The base station has a green light and the channel is set to b and c.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the base station's deployment itself because it worked normally until a couple of months ago. There are no furniture or mirrors in the way.

The base station, headset, and controller are all updated.

The headset's camera was turned off in the settings because it could have an impact.

But the base station doesn't recognize both the controller and the headset, as if the thing is covering it.

Was there a problem with the newly updated program after not playing for a couple of months?

Is there a problem with compatibility because it's a first-generation Vibe model?

I tried many ways, but all failed.

Can you help me solve the problem?

Thank you.

Gray screen is tracking loss. Even a first gen vive should work.

Check SteamVR support wizard https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithGame/?appid=250820

If no answer there, jump ahead to reading number 4 through 8 below:

Prior causes of loss of tracking in the forums:
1) reflections, sunlight, (you could test base stations one at a time to track down reflections, being mindful to switch a 1.0 out of mode c for solo testing)
