Quest 3 Volume Button starting "Laser Mouse"

Using SteamVR after 2 Months again and now whenever i'm starting SteamVR in my Quest 3, the Volume Buttom function as Mouse click instead of adjusting the Volume. Checked all the Settings but cant find a way to disable this behaivor. I would like to control the volume with the volume buttons on the Quest 3 instead of getting back to the SteamOverlay and function as a kind of mouse / mouse click.

Anybody else experienced this? Do you got any Tipps how to bring back the Volume Hardware Buttons als Volume control?

EDIT: Fixed by Installing the Oculus App for PC.

Having this on quest 2, trying to change it back to control headset volume but all the button(s) do is bring up steamVR overlay. It's extremely annoying to press the volume up/down button on headset, only to lag and bring up the dumb steamVR overlay. Is there an option anywhere for this behavior?

i got it fixed by installing the oculus app for PC. Then the Volume Button also worked in SteamVR.

i reinstalled the meta quest link {aka oculus app} and did nothing

hey, I'm also having this issue, and I've also tried reinstalling oculus link.
Is it working for you? if yes then how did you fix it?

nope, dident fix anything, no idea how to fix it and it pisses me off
