Problems when adjusting room scale in Room Setup
So my first setup for the vive worked fine, hung up both light houses at a good position in my room and it started it up. Had a blast, but my room is kinda small, so I moved it out to my living room and after I hooked it all up I started having issues. When I set the room scale there and put the headgear on, the ingame box that you have around you normally to show when you step out of your play area was off center to me, like by 3-5 feet so it thought I was standing outside my play area. I retried room setup a few more times thinking I did it wrong, but again off center and this time the floor was raised up about a foot. I tried moving it back to my smaller room again like before, but now even in here its off. I guess I could uninstall everything vive on my computer and reinstall, but I hope someone can help me here. I hope I'm dumb or just encountered an easily fixable bug. Thanks.

did you try the quick setup in steam vr menu (dropdown menu-> settings->developer)? put your hmd on the floor centered to your designated play area, select the size and hit quick calibrate. i never had tu use that feature but maybe it works for you

Thanks for the response, I did try what you suggested. When I click room overview it shows as if it changed my play area, but then I put on the headset and it still looks the same. The boundaries wont change their distance from the 'b' lighthouse, no matter where I put it, its locked that distance and position to that lighthouse. I guess I need to figure out how to reset the boundry I have set.

I actually have this same problem at the moment, nothing i try seems to correct the issue. If anyone has any suggestions\solutions i would be very grateful.

Try deleting (backing up, first) "\Steam\config\lighthouse\", as well as chaperone_info.vrchap and steam.vrsettings.
That data corresponds to the layout of your room and how things are tracked. If you try to nuke that stuff (back it up, again), it may force SteamVR to ask you to do the room setup, while not retaining anything of your previous configurations.

Did I say "back up first" already? Because do that.
