Unable to change default install location for SteamVR

Hello -

while normal steam software (example: Beatsaber) lets me pick the location of the install, in my case, between a ssd and hdd (C/D drives). Steam VR however misses this step and always installs to the biggest connected storage space, which is the slow hdd.

Maybe I am lost somewhere, but there isn't really more steps then uninstalling, then going for install and selecting a new drive in the menu normally?

SteamVR's installation location cannot be changed. It installs to the same drive that Steam is installed on.
