Report a translation problem
To obtain one of these, click the 'SteamVR' menu, 'Create System Report' and then 'Copy to Clipboard' or 'Save to File' and post the results somewhere. (There'll be a fair amount of detail so it won't fit in a comment here. Google Drive, Dropbox and similar seem to be good solutions.)
Thanks!
I have the same error "Bluetooth Error BT-101". Can you tell me where I can send SteamVR system report to get help with this problem?
Honestly. it's an annoying process to fix but I know how to fix it. The staff here will just give an annoying run around and get you nowhere. Fortunately I haven't had to fix this in a while. Pretty much what you have to do, is TOTALLY uninstall everything and reinstall it all.
Thanks for your reply. I'll try to do what you suggest.
Most of the time another program is interfering with SteamVR such as an anti virus or security program. In my case, it was Webroot. Webroot has been uninstalled for a long time because it expired, but every time I opened SteamVR, Webroot would popup and ask to install it again. There are only a few other times this would pop up. Two others are when I run Streamlabs OBS and Half Life Alyx Mod Tools(only appears when building lighting).
To fix this issue, once the pop up happens, I quickly go into Task Manager, find the Webroot instance, right click it, click open file location, delete the file that it opened and everything Webroot related. In my case it was a file in my C drive directory literally called "program". No wonder I missed it lol. Anyways this worked for me so I hope that helps others if the other fix didn't work :)
