valve index green display?

So when my index came in it worked prefect except for the whole display is green , I can see and read things fine but there are no colors just different shades of green. my replacement headset just arrived and bam same problem! all my drivers are up to date and my pc specs are fine. How is it possible to find no one with this issue!? when i"ve had 2 headsets in a row do this!

SOLVED: Somehow a file was removed in steamvr that got rid of all green but somehow also made everything green... (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings)
and add the line "hmdDislpayColorG" put a value to it and done!

i found that aswell but its not a solid green color its more of a green "tint" i tried those steps and did not fix.

You may have GPU driver settings for things like HDR, color correction, tint, etc. Are you sure they are all on default settings? Ditto OVR Advanced settings, if that's installed. Ditto FPS VR.

How would i go about seeing the GPU HDR settings? Yes i also have OVR advanced settings.

hmm maybe i should try to uninstall OVR AS first and see if that's a fix

Maybe OVR changed a color setting in a SteamVR pref file, which would persist an OVR uninstall. You should go into the OVR color settings to check.

i was actually looking around for those color files in my steamvr files and didn't see any

SOLVED! HOLY FRIKIN CRAP! thank you for suggesting this!
even though i verified my files i was missing a whole line named "hmdDislpayColorG" under steamvr files, i had blue and red so i added green and bam! all good :)

ps.... i found a thread that recommend to set the RGB to 1.4 or 1.5 for each and it looks amazing!
