HTC Vive controller is losing tracking
My HTC Vive controller is losing tracking in a different manner

I'm having a problem with my HTC Vive controllers, if anyone have any suggestions pls comment here

- Only the controller in my right side lose tracking

- And only if the controller is closer to the height of my hips, if the controller is closer to my feet or head it tracks normally

- The problem isn't reflection, i already cover everything and the problem persist

- The problem gets worse when i'm playing beat saber making almost impossible to play a full song without dying

english isn't my first language so sorry for my bad typing

A lot of people are moving their right hand in beat saber faster than the IMUs in the controllers can handle. Are you losing tracking only during high controller accelerations? There's no fix for that. If you lose tracking based on where the controller is, and not how fast it's accelerating, it's an occlusion problem. Make sure both lighthouses are functioning and have line of sight.

i'm losing track regardless of acceleration, i will try change the position of the bases and test if there is any problem with the bases

My son had a weird problem with a reflex of the sunlight in a washing machine wich is in other room. If not, I would try to reallocate the bases, maybe you get some oclussions from your body. Check that bases are set as B and C or A and B if you use the syncing cable.

i'm going to change the bases to another room and test if the problem persists

i switch the position of the bases and apparently the problem is my right side base because the problem persists in the side of my B base and after switching the bases my B base have a red light now

i think the only solution is to replace the B base but if you guys have any suggestion pls tell me
thx

Sorry, remember that it is possible to use it with only one base, just set it as A. This is useful for testing and also for playing in the meantime.

i tried this and is working surprisingly well onlying losing tracking when looking to the other side of the base i would say is about 70% of the play area is working well

Ok the problem you have is your body blocks one of the lighthouses view of the right hand controller, the software is crap and they’ve made it worse with latest update version, nothing you can do its not a hardware issue, i take it your lighthouses are set at 2pm and 7pm positioning, i’ve swapped lighthouses over and problem was still on my right side controller, what you can do to help is re do your room setup and make it so lighthouses are at your 11pm and 5pm positions or recentre your game so you are facing that direction, this will sort out problem with right controller, although you’ll now get problem with it on your left side if you bring right controller across your body to the side side of you, be thankful at least your floor doesn’t keep dropping away and you jitter/float away like i do now with this recent update version
