SteamVR config and log files are being created in wrong dir
It's a bit weird problem after reinstalling WIndows.
I have a 750GB SSD, and on a previous windows install I had one huge partition so Steam was installed in C:\Games\Steam

When I was reinstalling Windows, I created a 100GB partition just for windows and another partition for games. I moved my installation there, so the new path was D:\Games\Steam
All seemed to work, but today I noticed that I have a folder C:\Games\Steam created today and it contains some folder and files - mostly config and log files, steamvr log file looks like this:

Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - //===================================================================================================================== Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - vrclient startup with PID=15108, type=VRApplication_SteamWatchdog, config=C:\Games\Steam\config Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\htc\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\lighthouse\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\null\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Json Settings from C:\Games\Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\htc\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\lighthouse\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Default Json Settings from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\null\resources\settings\default.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - [Settings] Load Json Settings from C:\Games\Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings Sun Mar 18 2018 23:22:40.300 - Could not create interface in driver gamepad from D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\gamepad\bin\win32\driver_gamepad.dll. I uninstalled and reinstalled SteamVR, switched to beta, but it did no help. I checked if I have steam library defined on C: drive, but I do not. Any idea on how to fix it?

I found the solution - you can set logs and config path in developer options at the very bottom:

It took me over an hour to figure this out, maybe there's a better solution for this - i.e. SteamVR is aware on what drive it is installed and automatically changes the path of log and config files accordingly.
