Samsung Odyssey Plus Black Screen!
Hello,

I have spent around 1 and a half day trying to set up Samsung Odyssey Plus, but the screen with inside the headset just stays completely black. (no display)

The tracking and everything else works perfectly, Windows Mixed reality can see the product and connect, but the screen stays black.

I have tried around 10-15 different trouble shoots, and nothing worked, I made sure before buying the product that my computer is VR ready, and it is! (also I plug the headset in to 3.0 USB port) I updated windows before and after installing the headset, I cleared my USB ports from old unplugged devices, I checked if my HDMI port is working properly, I also checked if the Mixed reality drivers were up to date. I re-installed mixed reality portal a couple of times, and tweaked around in the settings. nothing has fixed the problem. Now I'm wondering if any of you ever had this issue before?

well i just read it recently. didn't look at the date 🤓
I honestly think the problem is the headset you are using.

Vive and Index? Sure, pretty common, tried and tested.

Rift and Rift S? Different brand, but too big to ignore, so yes.

Oculus Quest 2? Mark Zuckles hates cross-compatibility, but it's too big to ignore, so yes.

But I didn't even know Samsung made a VR headset until I read this message, so Gabe Newell probably didn't make it SteamVR compatible. Just buy a Q2 and be done with it.
