[Resolved] Oculus Quest Link: slight camera offset/distortion in Steam VR
Hi,

I noticed that when I play Steam VR games with my Oculus Quest via Link, if I turn my head left and right, I feel weird, as If my eyes are slightly zooming In and Out as my head rotate. I'm not feeling like the vision is matching what my brain expect to see. As if the VR camera were offset to the HMD or the VR FOV was different than the HMD FOV. It is mostly noticeable when having a closer look at something.

I'm not sure if it is visible enough on 1 eye recording.

In HL:Alyx:

I can also see that effect on the Steam VR dashboard:

I don't have this issue in the Oculus Dashboard or in Oculus Home:

To sums it up: I'm just turning my head left and right, and in game it feels like my head is bobbing forward and backward when doing so.

Could it be something I could tweak on my side in Steam VR? It kinda hurt my brain.

I'm running Steam VR beta (same issue happen with non beta), and Oculus Quest Link V15.

Thanks

I resolved the issue, it was actually an issue with Steam VR config/install.
I'm not sure which one did it, but It's gone after I deleted:
SteamApps\common\SteamVR\resources\settings\default.vrsettings
&
Steam\config\steam.vrsettings
Then uninstalling Steam VR and Reinstalling it.

Now my motion is good when turning the head left and right. No more feeling of having the head moving forward and backward.
