To obtain one of these, click the 'SteamVR' menu, 'Create System Report' and then 'Copy to Clipboard' or 'Save to File' and post the results somewhere. (There'll be a fair amount of detail so it won't fit in a comment here. Google Drive, Dropbox and similar seem to be good solutions.)
Thanks!

there are multiple system reports with different error pop ups
There are lots of device errors in the logs - these are usually indicative of some sort of USB problem. Double-check and re-plug all the cabling, remove any other devices you've added recently (although it looks like you've just got a keyboard and mouse there) and try a different USB port on the PC.
Connecting the USB part of the main tether directly to the PC rather than to the link box may also be worth a try, in case it's the link box causing problems.
If possible, see if you can test the headset on a different PC - this should help narrow down where the problems are.
Hope that's of some use!

Also a HTC Vive.
A temporary fix would be to first reseat every cable on the linkbox from the headset, but since the past few days that won't work anymore...
Now I'm getting a bluetooth error :/
Now I could get it to work by uninstalling steamVR (I'm in the beta fwiw), but I'm not gonna do that every freaking time I want to play...
Side note, my camera became inaccesible since god knows when (I had it disabled, since it would cause crashes with the new VR home)
Is there a way to uninstall any and all vive related drivers?
Also here's my log
https://drive.google.com/open?id=19O-TtRigzsOmE54xxxSuWfWSTiEtlIga
And here's a log after a reinstall of steam VR (non beta), still no camera though...

An intermittent problem like that suggests a faulty cable - uninstalling and reinstalling SteamVR might be prompting your system to rediscover the headset, only for a subsequent cable problem to make it disappear again...
See if you can run the short cables directly from the PC to the HMD, bypassing the linkbox - obviously this won't allow use of the headset, but should let you know if it's the long tether at fault.
I think there was a Windows 10 update which meant you have to allow webcam access? It's somewhere in the Windows settings. (Not at a PC right now so I'm unable to check, sorry.)
First of, Thanks for the weekend response.
I've tried my best at bypassing the link box, unfortunately, this is impossible with the HDMI cable, as one side of the connector (the plastic) is too thick, to fit the small cable in the headset :s
Hence, I've run the HDMI and power (after an reinstall I do get an image, no artifacts, so I'm kind of sure the power and HDMI aspect are fine) trough the box and USB straight to the headset.
I'm still getting "headset not detected" errors.
Reconnecting anything doesn't fix that :s
I'm starting to consider a fresh windows install (Got separated OS/Drivers and Data drives, so data loss should be minimal, but finding certain drivers is gonna be a pain.)
Well run me over with a freight train...
I was making preperations for a fresh Windows install and decided to check if there was an update here.
SteamVR had an update and it might have fixed the problem :s
I'll try a system reboot to make sure if it really works.
Edit.
Well darn...
That didn't do the trick (and now steam won't log in...)
Just my lucky day i guess....
Well a re-install did work (it seems to work now, got to see if Steam keeps asking for a loging after reboot...)
But the game I was basically doing it for just turned into a pile of ashes ....
♥♥♥♥...
I had a similar problem and ended up sending mine in. They tried charging me 200 bucks for "water" damage from sweat.
Then I remembered VR games automatically launch SteamVR, so I tried that, no luck.
After that I booted SteamVR again and now it Fing works again....
@Cargo Cult.
Who do I need to e-mail to get an uninstaller to just delete anything steamVR related?
Just wipe the slate clean in regards to drivers, profiles etc.
I'm really having a hunch it's just some old setting messing with stuff after all those years...
OK SO didnt get it repaired its back in my possesion nothing fixxed, still Looking for hope in how to fix it in a step by step proccess for a high end laptop user.
Reinstalling windows did seem to do the trick, as I no longer have any problems :/
