SteamVR

Cannot install bluetooth driver
The headset is not detected, but the BCM2045A0 device is saying it's missing a driver. I'm not able to go into the SteamVR settings, because there is no headset detected. Is there a supported way to install this BCM2045A0 driver outside of the steamVR settings menu?

This is for the HTC Vive. Tried multiple USB ports, same issue occurs. Nvidia drivers are up to date. I've had luck in the past running on USB2.0 ports, but it feels like windows 10 finds the bluetooth device, cannot find drivers, and stops looking for/installing drivers for the rest of the USB devices.

well this is wrong, you should be able to install steamVR without having a headset to begin with and you can get into steamVR without needing a headset.

try different usb ports, update your nvidia drivers.

Disabling direct display mode allows my desktop to appear in the vive. The problem is that steamVR is not able to detect the headset, despite it finding the USB devices, and failing to install the BCM2045A0 driver.

SteamVR has changed to where I am unable to access the settings to install the bluetooth drivers, as it says no headset detected.

I've narrowed it down to be a 3-in-one cable failure.

I seem to be having the same issue and no matter what I try nothing seems to be wroking, did it end up bieng the 3 in one cable? you may ignore my request, thought it was only way to ask.
