SteamVR

HTC Vive Pro w/ 1st Gen Controllers and Bases.... losing tracking of one controller at all times.... PLEASE HELP!!!
Guys,

I am constantly losing tracking of one controller it seriously can be either controller... not a specific one....... I have tried the following:
Updating firmware
Resetting Controller using cord menu track and trigger side buttons
Re-pairing the controllers
Plugging link box into wall
Uninstalling vive and steamvr software
Re-installing without virus protection so no issue with drivers
Switching from USB3.0 to USB2.0
Tried different USB3.0 ports
Unplug usb devices
Uninstall software
Disable devices
Tried Steam Beta

I have searched the net and tried every solution I can find.

My specs:
i7 6850k
32gb ddr4
1080 FTW

I am so exhausted trying to fix this. Can anyone assist that has had this issue?

I have several Steam Game keys to whoever can help me fix this.

Thanks in advance,
Layne

yup, i had the same issues. You need to remove the bluetooth driver, and reinstall bluetooth driver. Then repair both controllers. Make sure you pair one, and then another but make sure one controller is on one at a time or it will re-pair to the re-paired one. Make sure your steamVR can see both lighthouses. have it scan for the lighthouses within its menu in steamVR

I had issues. Took me 5 hours toying with it figuring out what was the issue. Mines was USB related and also re-paring the controllers.

Assuming that ranXerox is onto the right track, you might want to see if your Motherboard supplier has new USB drivers...
Ok if that’s the issue. I am having some kind of Bluetooth conflict. I have Bluetooth devices that connect to the PC other than the vive. I use a Bluetooth keyboard that connects to the pc from my living room. When I install the Bluetooth driver for the vive... it wipes out all other Bluetooth drivers and when I go into window settings... Bluetooth says it is off and I cannot pair any device with windows.

Have you seen this before?

That is crazy, unless the bluetooth on the linkbox happens to use the same chip on the usb bluetooth dongle.

I recommend you disable all bluetooth devices and run the setup with the vive bluetoothagain scanning for lighthouses and re-pairing the controllers. Then introducing the bluetooth dongle and see if that was the conflict.
