HTC Vive headset green light, dark screen (no display), and no SteamVR errors (all green)

Today, after about three hours of usage, my HTC Vive headset went dark and wouldn't come back up despite multiple system restarts. No errors were reported in SteamVR, so I tried most of the steps suggested in the following links:

What ultimately solved the issue was power cycling the HTC link box. It is mentioned in the second Reddit link, however I feel that it should be given more emphasis for those that run into the same issue.

yea i am running into this issue it seems after a new update came out i am getting all these errors now.... and now my laptop wont even run vr home like it use too . i am PISSED
