minecraft vr

so im getting the windows update error and everyone says i have to dl the microsoft store version to play the vr one. i own a copy back when mojang was still in charge. do i need to repurchase the game to play this in vr?

when i go to the mojang site it says i have a free win 10 copy waiting for me. i clicked redeem. a code came up with another redeem button, and login.live.com cant be reached

What headset are you playing on? If on a Vive/Pro/Index you need the Java version and you need to install Vivecraft. If you are on Oculus/WMR you can play the Windows 10 version (Bedrock version) If Oculus you will have to launch through Oculus Store. If WMR you will have to launch through WMR interface. You will need a Microsoft account to redeem your free Win10 copy. First login to that MS account and then reedem you code for Mine Craft. Please note you cannot crossplay between the Java and Bedrock versions of MineCraft, very sad! Good Luck!

Ok got login.live to come up by going through the mincrosoft website. Redeemed there then went to the store, logged in there and i have it. When i get back tk the states ill work on my oculus rift. Thx very much for the help.
