HTC Vive controllers not pairing!

I sent this to the steam vr support team but understandably I wont here back until Monday so I figured I'd post here as well. Tried attaching system report to discussion but I'm having trouble so if it will help let me know and I can get screen shots of certain pages. If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate help. Thanks

I just got a HTC vive headset last week and have been trying to get things working but can not seem to make progress. Everything connects except the controllers wont pair to the headset. The controllers work fine if they are plugged in. I can start up the room view and headset video and audio work as well as tracking/ buttons on both headset and controller. But when I unplug controller it will not pair. I believe this is a problem with the bluetooth receivers in the headset or the usb driver associated with that. Under the Setting>USB tab both headset wireless receivers are grey out as well and the audio but audio seems to work fine.

Some of the steps I have tried:
Uninstalling drivers swapping USB inputs and re connecting. Tried all the ports on my computer 2.0 and 3.0.
Resetting controllers and unpairall
Updating all firmware for devices.
Uninstall steamvr and repeated driver reset.
And a few other small things I found on the forums.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I fixed my controller pairing problem by shutting down the PC, unplugging the link box for a few seconds, then plugging it back in and booting up. Link box had been powered up over a year straight before that. PC's bluetooth is off, link box is only bluetooth I have.
