Index Controllers take this long to charge?
Just got index and noticed they just come with cables no plug. so i plugged them into the vive plugs that you use for charging vive wands.

From 1 green dot to fully charged its taken 3 to almost 4 hours

Is this really normal? am i charging them wrong cause its taking so long to charge these.

Hrm, this page says...
Charging
900mA fast charging, 1100mAh capacity Li-Ion polymer battery
My Vive chargers say they output 1A (LPS?), so should cover what an Index controller can take? So perhaps it cannot get better.

Myself I do use an IKEA KOPPLA triple USB-A charger that tops out at 2.4A per socket and 3.4A in total, delivers at least 1.7A across two ports simultaneously. It should be overkill though, and then, maybe LiPo doesn't charge faster?

I charge my Index Controllers via a USB hub on a normal USB port, meaning it's not a fast charge port, for me it takes from 2 to 3 hours to get to good or max charge. In my opinion this is not too bad as by the time they charge up I am rested and ready to go with VR again.
