SteamVR launching in a window.

When I start VR from the tools library it launches in a small borderless window on the top left of my screen.

that is a windows cmd. Opening SteamVR in the Tools should open a browser window where you can download the Oculus runtime etc.- this small window is the cmd and it should close right after.
Starting the VR-Mode is also possible by using "View->Virual Reality Mode (Beta)" - try that.

Hint: If you want to use SteamVR, read the HowTo!

I looked in the .bat that runs when starting SteamVR - it does something slightly different then i expected (it might be different since a few versions... don' know)

It looks like SteamURLs can now launch the VR-mode - better: should launch the VR-mode.
It doesn't work when I try it that way, but using the View-option works well.
