Quest 2 Controller Mapping Issues

I've been trying to look everywhere for this but cannot find anything regarding these issues. I have an issue with the touch controllers for the quest that the right controller meta button brings up the quest menu/home (which is totally fine), but on the left controller it's steam vr, which also usually the button used to simply pause a game. I have not been able to remap or figure any work around for this. Can somebody pleaseeeeee help me with this because it's driving me nuts. Is there a way i can set the controller button to be hold for steamvr and tap for pausing the game?

Im also wondering why SteamVR does not show the propper button mapping for the meta quest controllers.
Is there a way to fix it?
