Quest 3 IOBT Finally ON STEAM !?
A simple question
Will SteamVR ever get IOBT support from Quest 3 ?
The alternative is Virtual Desktop.

VD is great and makes things easier to manage. Just buy the Quest version and download the three PC client. The version on Steam doesn't work with Quest headsets. It doesn't provide the link mgmt, just the OTHER features of the software. It's aimed at people with HTC and Valve headsets.

Thanks for the Answer. I actually have VD and that's why i'm making this post.
The reason is that battery doesn't last much as playing through SteamVR/Link and most of the time i have connectivity issues like high latency and stuttering even if i lower bandwith where of course lowering it means losing quality, issues that i haven't experienced through SteamVR. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Also recently SteamVR added Quest 3 finger tracking in the Beta ring and it works almost flawlessly.

At this point i would like to ask you what VD has more than SteamVR, expect from upper body tracking ?
My personal experience has been that VD manages settings for you on the fly. If you are using it AND making settings tweaks you may be causing more problems than you are solving.

There's specific settings they advise you to pick listed in the documentation.
