how to use steam vr through cable

Just bought a cable to play half life alyx since my wifi is not the best at streaming things, how do I use my cable through steam vr or do I gotta use the meta quest app?

Quest link. You will need to download the Meta quest desktop streamer app. Then just activate Quest link in your headset. The UI is a little janky but it works fine.

Been a while since I used it, but If I remember correctly from the VR desktop view you launch the game with SteamVR. After the first time Quest link will remember the steam game and you can launch it from an icon in the app.
