SteamVR on Quest 3 won't let me unmute my microphone.

I haven't been able to get my microphone working consistently in SteamVR with my Quest 3 using Link. Every time I enable Link, the microphone will show as muted in the Quest 3 quick settings menu, the Link app, and in SteamVR. When I go to unmute, it immediately goes back to being muted. The only way I have found to make it work is to disable the microphone in control panel and re-enable it. It goes back to being muted again after closing and opening the software. I'm using Windows 11. Does anyone else have this problem?

If the device is put in exclusive mode it may be unresponsive, entirely...Otherwise Windows should be able to record / hear the unmute, even if just for a fraction of a second.

If you want to investigate by disabling access to exclusive mode, go to the sound control panel (Win+R: mmsys.cpl),

The option is listed in the advanced section of the device's "properties" window.
