PSVR2 is a gimmick with awful performance and will leave you tethered! Quest 3 is not the greatest but a better choice over the gimmick PSVR2. Pico 4 is better then both.

I have been using PSVR2 on PS5 and PC and I am very happy. You get best of both worlds. It works well but you need good WiFi antennas for the PC to connect well with the controllers.

PSVR2 is not remotely a gimmick, don't listen to that. That is clearly coming from someone who is repeating something they heard and doesn't really know.

I've used both Quest and PSVR2 and they perform well. PSVR2 has slightly lower resolution, but better colors, with deeper blacks and greys. Q3 has slightly better resolution, but more washed out colors. It really depends on what you want.

If wireless is important, go with the Q3. Having a cable gives you less compression and issues from wireless streaming, but it's a preference that you have to decide on.

If you have a PS5, PSVR2 is the way to go as you can use it on both systems. If you don't have a PSVR2, Q3 may be the better option since you can also use it standalone.

They are both very good, it really just comes down to what you want.
