port 27062 in use

i cant open steam vr and when i can it says error 309

Same, I get an error stating "unable to launch steam vr port 27062 in use"
I ran netstat -ano | find ":27062" at the command line to find the PID of the process using that port and then tried to kill the process with taskkill /F /PID pid_number (found on the previous command) but it said that it couldn't find that process.
Full disclosure, I'm trying to run Skyrim VR using SKSE and Mod Organizer 2. Vanilla Skyrim starts fine when I launch it directly from Steam VR.

same problem here. it happens to me after SteamVR crashes for some reason (and this is another issue...), the only solution for me is to reboot my PC. Port 27062 seemed in use by system, which of course is not an executable that can be killed...

same issue after steam updated itself, i realized steam itself is running the port by default when looking at resource monitor!
