Meta Quest 3 Takeing Over Drivers

so i just got a meta quest 3 for Christmas and plugged it into my pc with a quest link cable and i noticed every time after i did the occulous drivers would take over and overwrite my headsets drivers. so when im trying to talk to friends on discord or play games outside of VR it just doesn't work. cant hear anything or talk with my mic. my solution is deleting the drivers. unplugging my headset and then restarting my pc so they re install but this is kinda a hassle to do everytime after i use my VR headset. has anyone else figured out why this happens or how to fix it?
