Ive never tried a quest 3 wired. But for wireless quest 3 setup with alvr usually the distance from router, stability, and updates can break it.

Try changing your version of steam vr(like beta previous ect) and do a file varify. Also check what port your headset cable is in it may be a usb 1.0 instead of 3.0 so youre not getting the speeds you want. And maybe in launch options use a command like prime to force it to use the dedicated gpu instead of igpu?

I recently had a very bad lag and stutter problem, so I will post my resolution here. Some Windows/Software update on my PC turned my audio hardware devices up to 32-bit audio. This was causing huge stutters on my Quest 3. I have went through my audio devices and set everything back to 16-bit audio and this has completely resolved my horrible stuttering issue.

I doubt that it will help me but how can I do that?

Windows Control Panel > Sound > Playback Tab > Right-Click on audio device > Properties > Advanced Tab > I made sure everything was set to '16 bit, 44100Hz (CD Quality)' and also 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device' and 'Give exclusive mode applications priority' are unchecked.
