Have you tried the SteamVR beta? Right click over SteramVR in your library, Properties, Betas, and select the first beta under None. See if that works.

SteamVR recently stopped finding my headset too. Before that, it worked for two weeks without any problems. I have no idea how to solve the problem.

Update: I did the whole installation procedure again via the PSVR2 app and now it works again.

Okay, try getting it working this way, but make sure you're on the normal SteamVR branch, and not the beta, at least initially in giving this a shot. This is what I did over a week ago and posted it in a different discussion, that ended up working for some people.

A few days back, I installed/repaired the X86 and X64 runtimes, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and also installed the legacy DirectX runtime, some older games require it, https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=35
This solved my issue while running the regular version of SteamVR, 2.7.4, but a dev asked if I would try the updated beta. So I switched to that, and currently SteamVR is still working fine.

Figured out a fix
step 1:Go to steam vr app in your steam library and find that good ole settings button and give it the good click on properties
Step 2:Find the installed files tab in the menu that popped up and click the button that says browse
Step 3:See all those files? select them all and delete them go find your recycling bin and delete those permanently
Step 4: Go back to your steam vr app in your library and uninstall it
Step 5:Reinstall and you should have a fresh unbuggy steam vr fun time
Enjoy!

Good one! I've had mine working with the post I submitted above, but decided to try your way to test it, and yes, it also works. I didn't try it with the normal version of SteamVR, but with the SteamVR beta instead. Hopefully it works with both. :)

In fact it works with both versions it merely resets the files you've installed giving you a fresh install beta or not

found a solution that worked for me i had to go to app and features in window settings search for visual c++ 2015-2022 and hit uninstall on both it gives a prompt that gives a repair option then it will have u reset your pc after repair.
