New Valve Hardware... Possibly The Deckard?
IDK if you guys saw but at the announcement of the Steam Deck release in Australia, Valve teased that they have additional hardware coming soon, but wouldn't say anything more.

Do you guys think it will be something like a Steam Deck, but for VR? Like a VR headset with Steam Deck mobile processor for standalone VR games, wireless internet connectivity, and SteamOS open source Linux OS?

Valve will never use open source linux which would give certain freedoms to certain individuals. The steam deck just did not hit home and has to have games verified to play on it which just shows the weak hardware it uses. Look into aya neo if you want those types of things and features, i mean ryzen powered VR capable (certain models) with the hardware to do so, also supports docks and controllers. Valve seems to thrive in software but seriously lacks when it comes to hardware.

I don't see the tease in the announcement. What tease are you talking about?

I think that was in reference to an enhanced Steam Deck, not VR Hardware. (Least from the news outlets I've seen.) No point in speculating. Nothing is going to be out for Xmas, and they tend to have a big leeway time from their hardware announcements and pre-release orders.

My index cable is dead, I'm on my backup Vive Pro2, and considering if I want to invest in a BigScreen Beyond.. cause going back to Vive after Index is a little painful. Like going back to LED after living with OLED.. "OWW MY EYES!"
