Wireless PCVR headset.
Does anyone know of any cheap headsets that can do wireless PCVR? I have quest 3, but the headset's weight makes it hard to play for a while, and tracking kinda sucks. I to know if there is a headset that has wireless, but no standalone. Can anyone help?

Pico 4 is great for all. Standalone (wired and wireless) For PCVR (Wired or wireless (no lag if you got the right router: Wifi 6)
And nowadays it is really cheap as used version.

One problem is that you can only play wireless for 1 1/2 -2 hours. A strong powerbank would help.
Pico 4 Ultra is not cheap but recharged in 30 minutes. Pico 4 needs an hour.

If I have understood your question correctly, you should start by reading this (laterns/slam):

So you're looking for a headset that has better tracking than the quest 3, which means you want to ditch slam in favor of lantern tracking. We just finished talking about cheap vr.

VR Weight.
There are wireless systems, for full pc (cable) VR sets. They are big, heavy and expensive.
You can look for such a system for the vive if you want to see what it looks like.

So is there a wireless vr set that doesn't have a whole computer (or rather a phone) inside. I am convinced that there is no such thing. It is rather technically impossible.

But is that what you mean, I don't think.
You just want convenience. So you want a vr headset, with a full headband. With a well-distributed weight, and preferably without batteries inside.

So you have the choice of a cable vr set, like ps vr2 (slam) or index (lanterns).
It can be one of the pico sets proposed by the colleague above, one that has batteries in the back.
Or buy a good quality band with a battery on the back for your quest 3.

As for the quest slam tracking, you can try to see if it is possible to use the controllers from the quest 2. They were with hoops, so the tracking should work a little better, in some cases.
You can also buy controllers from quest pro, but they probably cost as much as the entire quest 3.

Dont really reccomend the Pico 4 as its made by Bytedance, the same people that made TikTok. I would reccomend a HP Reverb G5

G5 ? You mean G2. WMR is DEAD ! Killed by Microsoft (another spyverse)

And what about TikTok or ByteDance ? Remember of Suckerberg and his spy-imperium.

So can´t buy any cheap headset.

I bought a Pico 4 because Pico doesn´t want my real data. A simply Email-Account is enough.

That the Pico 4 is very comfortable if changing the face-gasket and that headset can do all what you want by its good technical specs , made this HMD my favorite one.
