PSVR2 is almost as cheap to buy as the quest 3 is it not? why is it not selling anywhere near as much?
I like my HTC Vive but I'm gonna wait until something new from valve comes out. At least it will come with native steam support and not require valve to patch it's support in later.
Also I don't use facebook so there is that.
i think its fascinating that i see so many comments saying things along those lines, but once a VR headset with a comparable price point DID launch (PSVR 2) it seems like people just...
never bothered to buy it, as a matter of fact, the number of people using the PSVR2 on steam actually went DOWN in october 2024 when compared with september 2024.
I'm never going to use VR anywhere away from my desktop gaming PC so having things like PC'less standalone features are pointless for me.
I'd rather get a dedicated powerful / high quality VR headset which is driven not by the headset itself but by the power of my actual home computer than one that cuts corners for portability.
Each to their own though.
