Steam link and steam VR with ETS 2

Hi everyone. I'm new with metaquest 3 and really bad with computers.
I'm trying play Euro truck sim 2 with my new metaquest 3.
I was able to go "immersive " with airlink but screen is flickering and audio is broken. I researched on google and I found out that problem is probably my usb 3 cheap cable.
So i decided to install steam link. Problem is that i see on my oculus just a flat monitor, not sure if I'm clear. I'm not in immersive mode. What I'm doing wrong? can you guys please help me like if you are talking with a 12 years old kid? :)
Usually I open steam link from my oculus. ( imake sure also steam vr is connected with metaquest 3). when i open steamlink it connects with my desktop and it open a room. on the room i can see steam on recent applications but it is gray and I cant do anything with it. so i open ets2 from steam
yes my desktop is connected via ethernet, vr is on 5ghz wifi and ets2 is the oculus version.

again with airlink i dont have problem going in immersive mode but with steamlink i see only a flat screen

You would need to launch into your host PC with Steam Link and launch the application from Steam. Sometimes there are different "launch options" where it would prompt you to select VR or Desktop modes. You may have said "don't ask me again"

You can try right-clicking on your game, clicking "Properties" and selecting different launch options.
