3.0 Vive trackers

So I’m stuck in a situation we’re I have the HTC Vive with index controllers with 1.0 base stations. Recently one of my 1.0 base stations broke but, I was fixing to buy the 3.0 Trackers but heard the 3.0 trackers are only compatible with 2.0 base stations. What would you do if you were in the situation.

Where ever you heard that 3.0 Trackers work only with 2.0 base stations is wrong. HTC's own web page[www.vive.com] says they work with both. Added info "(only with Base Station)" is there just because OG Vive itself doesn't work with 2.0 base stations. Both 2.0 (blue button) and 3.0 (smaller) versions of Trackers work with both 1.0 and 2.0 versions of SteamVR tracking. Only the oldest 1.0 version of Trackers (grey button) is limited to SteamVR tracking 1.0 and won't work with 2.0.

Well, you need a 1.0 base station as OG Vive doesn't work with 2.0, unless you are getting a new headset. All versions of Trackers would work.
