Oculus with Vive trackers, lighthouses. I need help
My steamvr doesnt give me the option to install the bluetooth driver under general settings of steamvr. I installed the bt driver in steamvr files, but I don't have the enable bluetooth communication either. I have uninstalled the drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled steamvr, deleted the steamvr files when reinstalling. I have already updated my lighthouses via usb cable, as well as my vive trackers. Im oculus rift with htc vive trackers and lighthouses, for full body. I need your help to see why steamvr isnt seeing that I have bluetooth, or giving the option to install the bt driver. Please and Thank you.

I just recently answered to this same question in another thread. SteamVR's BT is located in the Vive's or Vive Pro's link box on inside Index headset. You don't have the BT device shown in SteamVR, if you just have base stations and trackers. That's why SteamVR is not seeing it.

But you don't need it, it's just for FW update (you have already done that) and power management (putting base stations to sleep when SteamVR is turned off). You can either buy the link box and power management might work without a headset (i'm not 100% sure about that), or you can turn them on/off manually with a switch or just taking the plug out when you are not using them.

Steamvr can't see that I have lighthouses without bluetooth, anyway to make steamvr see my lighthouses, and would getting the link box even help?

Base stations are static, they don't connect to PC when they operate, not through cable or BT (other than mentioned power management and FW updates). They just emit light and SteamVR tracking devices (headset, controllers, trackers) recognize that light and calculate their location. They are like real life light houses, static location references, the other end is the one doing the hard work.

SteamVR shows your base stations green in only if there is a tracking device that can see them. You don't have a headset or controllers, so you need to have a paired and turned on Tracker somewhere where it can see the base stations, then the base station appears green in SteamVR.

Link box is not needed, you just have to turn base stations on/off manually.

What hardware you have?

Are your light houses SteamVR tracking 1.0 or v1 for short (blocky Vive OG) or v2 (curvy Vive Pro/ Index) models? How many? If you have v1, then what mode you have them on? For two v1 base stations you should use modes A and B if you have a sync cable connected between base stations (optional on small rooms) and modes A and C if you don't have a sync cable (optical syncing).

How about trackers, what models you have? Do you have the original model just named Tracker (tracking v1) or the new model Tracker (2018) (tracking v2) that is sold currently. Old model has grey icon in the middle and the new one has blue icon. The old Tracker model wouldn't work with v2 base stations while other combinations will work.

Is the Tracker icon you have appearing green in the SteamVR?

If I interpreted correctly this guy was doing exactly same thing that you are doing and he just got it working. I haven't tried a combination that has only base stations and tracked, though I have used SteamVR a lot.

I have the og base stations 2 of them, they are on b and c cuz vive software said so, I have 3 of the 2018 trackers, and yes the tracker appears green on streamvr.

Sounds good that far. Are the base stations running? They should have nine red IR-leds glowing through the front panel and the status led on the top of the front panel should be bright green. You should also hear a humming noise when you are close and feel that they are vibrating.

We have checked all the basic things and everything sounds that they should work.

The person in the other thread followed a youtube tutorial that guides you to change SteamVR to start without headset. I don't know if that is a required step to get Oculus+Trackers to work. You might want to check that video and the part where that change is done is at 2:25.
