Is windows 11 good now?
it's been a while now I heard both good and bad things about win 11 just currious if it's worth the switch from win 10 - 11 or not.

A difficult question to answer. Will Windows 11 cause VR problems specifically? Likely not, and if it does, it could be because it is preventing a suspicious driver from running. I have Windows 11, and the VR problems I had with my OG HTC Vive were to do with my 7900 XTX drivers and how it interfaced with the Vive.
I got into the habit of avoiding every second Windows after XP: Vista and Windows 8.x to be precise. However, Windows 11 is quite nice, and I eventually got my VR working.

edit: You can always revert back to Windows 10 using inbuilt tools if your W11 experience is less than ideal.

VR works fine for me in windows 11.
Microsoft dropped support for Mixed Reality headsets now, Not only your headset will be bricked (Because you need the application running for it to work), The Mixed Reality portal is deprecated and no longer getting updates as far as I know.

Keep Windows 10 if you still have it, No point in updating now. If you have any headsets considered to only run the Windows Mixed Reality platform, Please keep Windows 10 or upgrade to an Oculus or Vive headset

You know, valve could grab the drivers and incorporate them into Steam VR...

Or get onto HP's back and get them to make some drivers
