Why would you do this when the Vive had head tracking already?
Well, I'm assuming your not discussing a Vive. Yes you could, but it would make you really sick. (You'd have to write or find software) The kinect is really crappy compared to VR tracking.

Well the Rift has head tracking as well. Currently there is no PC solution that does not have head tracking!

Alot of people are asking because they are looking for better head tracking for the Rift, or for mutiple tracking units.
People want the Vive's ability at the rifts price.

But the cost of a Rift plus a Kinect comes close to the Vive and you dont have the controllers. And the kinect wont track as well as the Rift anyway.

Not if you have one laying around, I have two (OP says he already has one). Buy them used for $10 to $40 usd. He is discussing face tracking software, so dout he cares about motion controlers.

Yea, it doesn't even half the capability of Rift's single tacker, but not everyone knows that.

Edited to add; Although if you where to use two Kinect 2.0 sensors, you could come up with a better system then the Rift. While I don't think they track as fast as the Rift, they track better then the Kinect sensors. Having two Kinect 2.0 sensors would alow for more correct tracking like the Vive at a close tracking rate to the Rift. But this is only a viable option if you already own a Rift, willing to spend the money on Kinect 2.0 sensors (alot more expensive, and less likely to have laying around), and can write your own software.
I assume we already answer the OPs quest to his satisfaction.

It can be done - a couple of years ago I did a project that used a DK1, Kinect and PSMove controller to do a room-scale experience:

You do need to make a great long umbilical cord - I had HDMI,USB,Power and audio cords bundled together to make a ~10m extension.Although the tracking on the Kinect 1 is very rough, it's not nearly as bad as an experience as you might think - I didn't have anyone who tried it experience any nausea. I tended to find that errors in the Kinect tracking would result in small jumps of position rather than slides.

It was fun being able to see your whole body move, when the tracking was working properly. Now I have a Pre I am planning on resurrecting that project, but I might keep Kinect support in, just to track your body and legs.
i juat need a program to work to trak my head and actually work with games like arma 2 and i dont have any VR things :-(
