SteamVR Fail : A key Component of VR isn't working properly.

So when I originally downloaded SteamVR and the Oculus App for my PC everything connected beautifully, and I was able to play. However, I ran into a problem with some wort of message box that was stuck on my screen that, after looking up, was part of a tutorial that never initiated for me and glitched out. The only was to fix this per the wisdom of the internet was to uninstall both and then reinstall both. So I did and now with SteamVR it won't work and I constantly get the error message, "SteamVR Fail : A key Component of VR isn't working properly." I have uninstalled and reinstalled SteamVR an additional two more times since receiving this message and it has not fixed the issue. Need some help if any of you have had this problem and fixed it. Update: As dumb as this sounds I just shut down the programs then disconnected the cord connecting my Metaquest 2 to my PC and reconnected it. I brought SteamVR and Oculus back up and everything worked fine again. I don't understand why it worked but it did. Hope this helps someone else if they have the same issue.
