Need to Update Graphics Driver Error?

So I have an Intel Arc A-380. the latest driver that works is 31.0.101.4090 however its too old for steam vr. i was looking for a way to over-ride this blockage?

yeah same, hope someone finds a solution soon. although with me an intel iris xe.

Valve doesn't support Intel graphics in VR. At all. I was told by a Valve mod in another thread that they're "evaluating it for future support." I interpret that to mean they're not going to care until Arc usage becomes more than a rounding error in the annual Steam hardware survey.
As to a workaround, don't hold your breath, It's expecting an Nvidia-specific hardware video encoding API, which sucks because Intel's QuickSync encoder is vastly superior to both AMD and Nvidia's, AND it's fully supported in non-vr steam link.
You might try ALVR (Air light VR), an open source VR streamer. It works ok on my system (Arc A-750, with AMD Ryzen 5 5600G). It's the only reason I still have a Windows partition.
