Running index knuckles with a quest 3

My old htc vive has finally started to give up and steamvr won't recognise my spare one anymore, I was thinking of upgrading finally but was wondering if there is any hack-jack solution to run the index knuckles with a quest 3 in any way and if that's possible then how one would do that

I think you need the base stations.

that would make sense has the base stations have to see the controllers to work

yeah i thought so, i got stuck on the "make the knuckles work without a headset to see them"

You will need to keep the base stations set up and two SteamVR dongles for your index controllerd to connect to. That's because they would typically connect to the Bluetooth on the Vive.
You'll also need space calibrator software to join Quest playspace with Steam playspace.
