Check the box everything came in, they're usually listed on that. Hopefully you didn't throw everything away.

start SteamVR and open it's settings. got to "Controllers" > "Test Controller". the device's serial is displayed on the left top (starting with "LHR-").

This one is the one that will cut out and start fast blinking in error state

This one the tracking takes close to a minute sometimes to go from blue to green at start up so im fine with this one

Both the touch no longer registers on the stick unless im clicking in the stick

For anyone else looking, Valve support doesn't want the SteamVR LHR- number. Instead look on the inside edge at the bottom of the curved part of the controller for a number that starts with FKL

So, the LHR number is the one that is different between all controllers?
I believe i have sent the incorrect controller back to valve in an RMA advanced replacement :sob:
