HOW TO SET UP WIRELESS HTC VIVE ADAPTOR

DO FIRST
OPEN STEAM NORMALLY - NO VR YET
OPEN THE VIVE WIRELESS APP ON YOUR DESKTOP

1/ TURN ON THE POWER BATTERY
2/ TURN ON WIRELESS ADAPTOR IT WILL SLOWLY BLINK
3/ WHEN THE WIRELESS ADAPTOR BLINKS RAPIDLY - PUSH THE BUTTON AGAIN
4/ THE ADAPTOR WILL START PAIRING WITH YOUR HEADSET AND TELL YOU WHEN ITS READY TO GO
5/ LAUNCH STEAM VR AND YOU WILL SEE THAT YOUR HEAD SET IS NOW DETECTED : )
6/ HEADSET, CONTROLERS & BASE STATIONS SHOULD ALL BE DETECTED NOW.

I HOPE THIS HELPS, AS MY RED DOT JUST TURN GREEN ON MY HEADSET:)

Thanks for the info Friend , I just finished taking my htc vive adaptor back to the store for a refund
I don't know if it was defected , but mine had poor screen door pixels that would fade in and out and tracking issues , for the price i paid for it and all the video review I watch before I purchase it,
I guess i was looking for something more clearer then what I got, I wrote that tutorial because I went looking on steam on how to set the thing up, and seen someone else having the same problem I had with the headset not being detected after trying to pair the adaptor to the headset.

( Sorry for the Caps in the Tutorial ) but I wanted everyone to read it better then fine print : )
if yours is working perfectly That's Great : ) but I think I going to stick to the wire from now until something better comes along, This is my second attempt to have a wireless vive with Tpcast and now the vive adaptor, As with Tpcast its still sitting in my closest for the last 2 years , due to the fact its a pain to set it up with its software issues every time you want to play a game. but for now I'm happy with the wire : )

1. startup the vive wireless software
2. plug in power to wireless adapter
3. turn on power on wireless adapter
4. put on gear and turn it on via controller
