Viewing the current session play time

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to view the current session's play time.

I can't find it in the VR Steam menu. Shift-Tab does not work on the game on desktop.
Am I just blind? Are there other programs people use to track VR play time?

Necropost I know, but is there a way to do this WITHOUT buying additional software? It's kinda ridiculous that Steam does this just fine for non-VR games.
