#2: Even if you say "all vr games", you are most likely experiencing in a select few, or just how many titles do you include when saying that? This is an unknown value because it means all games you specifically are playing. I've helped people in the past where saying this only meant 1-2 titles anyway.
my cpu is at 20% when I play pavlov and beatsaber
- Are you running a laptop or desktop computer?
- Model of your CPU?
- Model of your GPU?
- Amount of RAM installed
- Any anti-virus installed that is not Windows Defender
- Any system tweaking application for over-clocking like MSI Afterburner
- Are the installed graphics drivers up to date?
- Are you running more than 100% Render Resolution in SteamVR?
That's it for now.2. i7-8700k
3. NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 Ti
4. installed 32 GB available 24GB
5. NOD 32
6. dont think so
7. it had an update available so mabe thats it :P
8. render res is on automatic
From the values you mentioned in the first post you are getting 25 Hz instead, which of course is as you title it, extreme lag. At least now we know you're not playing on a potato, which helps narrowing things down.
* First thing I would try would be to disable NOD 32 and see if it makes a difference. I have not heard about it being bad for VR specifically, but in general third party anti-virus can be troublesome.
* Second, set the render resolution to 100% manually and see if that makes for any difference.
* Third, is your headset connected to the GPU and not the ports on the motherboard?
no difference
conected to GPU
Regardless, download OpenHardwareMonitor[openhardwaremonitor.org] and pretty much everything will be in there, when it comes to system performance and states.
