Is VR Dead?
I haven't really seen any good games coming out for VR recently, the whole media seems to of dropped all influence on it, is VR already considered dead? why havent any really good games come out for VR that can give players a experience without a over priced bill.

Console systems have also updated, but not VR.

Question is Why?

VR is still "updating", it's just not as fast as it was 6 or so years ago. For example Sony are a couple of weeks away from announcing the next gen of PSVR and updating a bunch of games to work with it.

thats good news to hear, but really i want to see PC gaming and media movies for VR would be nice to see some main stream VR Movies coming out where we can look all around the room while the scene is playing, i know disney was doing some but no idea what ever happened to it.

PC VR is definitely dead, you'll only see mobile ports and trash indie titles going forward.

Punk's not dead.

There are already enough good quality PC VR games out there to make me feel like my Valve Index purchase was justified. And considering many of those are fairly new games, I wouldn't call it "dead" just yet.

There's one other consideration: with Sony launching it's PSVR at the same time it has released a LOT of Sony Playstation exclusive games on PC; there appears to be a considerable chance there will be a lot of VR games developed for the PSVR that will be ported to PC in the next few years.

Hardware early adopters always gonna feel dead inside after blowing a lot of money like that, when newer tech comes out not needing half the stuff, and much cheaper. $1000 Index vs $400 quest 2 big oof moments.

acer AH 101 windows mixed reality brand new $150 Via ebay in 2018, valve index made me question what the heck is wrong with the VR industry over priced junk from steam is the reason nobody bought steam controllers, why no body was interested in valve index, and why steam deck honestly has no user base, you can just review the forums about it if you doubt.

Ehh idk about $150 via ebay, but MSRP for it was $400, you sure it wasn't used, or broken for parts?

Yes we guys know.

You do not have to write everywhere that acer goggles that no one uses are the best. The cheapest budget and lousy vr quest 2 is too expensive. And who bought the index vr must be crazy, because it's terribly expensive and mediocre goggles.

We all know.
You are certainly right.

dude it came with free ghostbusters vr lol and i was honestly suprised it was apprently 99 dollars on target clearance which is why i got mine for 135.00 plus 15 shipping , VR was faling big time in 2017-2018, so the hardware was wel worth the money spent, two bluetooth controls, plus windows WMR headset.

don't be upset i got a great deal and you got a over priced valve index that cost you more then my top of the line Gaming pc, which was built from manufactured refurbished an clearance parts. :D

"my top of the line Gaming pc" (for less than $1000) - made of wood or made of clay ?

...my mistake they added it to the chips, and the graphics card grew on a potato bush.

I have a computer for 1000 USD, and somehow mine is a total bottom of the middle shelf.

Write more is a great cabaret.

i feel really bad that your over paying for hardware and software, what you get at walmart for 1000 dollars is why you can't play games , lol i fee like you might be the kinda person who buys a cannondale bike to ride on a suburb flat around the block 1 day a week with your kids, 1000's of dollar spent and you don't know how to use it.

the best part of about less expensive top hardware is you can get more of the cool things, like a wind simulator, i bet your fancy head set and all that, but you don't have the cool gadgets that make VR really fun, like a wind simulator!
