How to screenshare vr gameplay with audio on discord

so i have tried screensharing games on vr multiple times and idk why it wont work, they just say that they see (Steam vr) and i want to be able to screenshare with audio to my friends on discord. anyone know how to? I might just be dumb asf and not know how but idk

The general steps to stream your VR gameplay to discord is described here:

My guess is that you're not selecting the game when you start the streaming on Discord, but instead you select SteamVR which is NOT the game. SteamVR is just a software that acts as an in-between agent between games on Steam and the various possible VR heasets and/or software. Hence, that would be why they only see SteamVR on the stream because that software has no actual visual rendering to send to Discord (when that happens, Discord automatically just put the software name in view toward viewers.)
