Floor Re-Calibration
Can we get one in settings, like the quick calibrate function in the developer menu, but to only adjust the floor calibration and retain the previous chaperone bounds and play area.

The VR floor becoming randomly too high or low is now my biggest problem.

My current solution is to place the headset and controllers in the center of my play area and use Reboot the Vive Headset under devices. If this doesn't work after a few tries I'm running room setup again. It's very annoying to load up a game and have to quit to do all of this.

I'd also like to know why this is happening.

This would be useful. I was under the impression that this was already implemented as it was suggested on a Reddit thread, but I found no option to recalibrate the floor only. I've had the same issue a couple of times where the floor would be too high or too low.

+1 for this, tired to outlining my room.

Almost every session the floor ends up tilted and or raised for me as well.

I noticed that if my headset loses tracking, when it regains tracking, sometimes the floor is a few inches higher or lower... so it isn't some kind of gradual drift.

Definitely needed

Agreed, it's needed!

Sounds like a great addition.

Agreed. It's also annoying during development.

Yes please. The floor moving is going to ruin my controllers. Such a pain to always do the full calibration.

It is an issue for me, too. Every few hours I have to do the calibration again, because of the floor being too high or low. Please fix it Valve, it is annoying. I am not completely sure: Sometimes it appears when entering a new game.

Can any Valve devs comment on this issue, if it's being worked on and when we could see a solution? Thanks.

After the 24th of May update, this issue was solved for me for some time. But for some reason, during the last week or so, it has returned. My floor keeps getting shifted a couple of inches too low or high between sessions, and is constantly more or less tilted. Please add a button to recalibrate floor or fix the issue. I don't know what has happened within the last week to make the issue return, but it's my only gripe with the Vive atm.

I have the same problem. My floor keeps either being too high or low. I have to do room setup before every use which is getting annoying and sometimes have to do it twice. I think an easy solution would be a floor recalibrate button OR the ability to just adjust the floor up or down in steamvr. Hope they can fix this soon.

When are we going to get some traction on this issue? It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the most used application on my VIVE is the SteamVR room setup. I just got done resetting the room as the floor all the sudden jumped up a foot. After the setup the floor appeared at my knees. Ran again and it's 6" to low. Figure the ♥♥♥♥ out already. Enough time has passed with you frustrating your users.
