Audio over HDMI stuttering when SteamVR is running

New week, new SteamVR problem! :)

Everything was running great (at least the sound was :) ) for the last month, I haven't changed anything on my setup except updating to the newest Nvidia drivers. (pretty sure it still worked after the update).

So my Vive is connected through a DP to mini-DP Cable and my TV is connected through HDMI. I use USB Audio on the Vive and have the sound mirrored over the TV, like I said that worked great for 1 month.

Now everytime I start up steamVR the sound starts stuttering on the TV like crazy, pretty much one audiosnipped every 5 - 10 seconds as soon as I stop SteamVr the sound goes back to normal. In the Headset the audio is fine only the mirroring doesn't work anymore. I've checked every setting and nothing has changed.

someone here with similar problems?

Yeah i have the same issue with my nvidia and audio mirror to my pc speakers. Every so often it keeps skipping out and crackling. headphone sounds works just fine

Have you found a fix yet? I've tried almost everything, the strange thing is, the windows test sound in the audio device settings plays fine while steam vr is running, even WHILE the vive sound is stuttering it plays fine on top of it. So we can rule out a connection problem!

I am having a similar issue with my setup. I am not mirroring or anything, just streaming over the USB to the headset audio jack. I get audio stutters when I play media through this interface from my media player. I do not get stuttering when I play the same media with a media player in spawned in viveport - it plays cleanly there. It doesn't seem to matter if steamvr is running or not - audio played on my headset from my desktop always stutters. I also had stuttering in sound when I played Fractasia.

Have this audio/sound stutter now everytime after PC was in hibernation mode. Have always to restart my PC before I can use SteamVR/Vive Pro normally :-(
