a pulley system would let me attach the cords to a out-of-the-way location and still give me full mobility and stuff
I would advise also contacting the guy that runs the store page. He's super chill and should be able to answer your questions about your room setup to see whether his system will work.

Now that i Have my HP G2 the cable is on the floor where I can see the twists in it.
and unless you play seated, it might benefit you ass well
I knowbut it's instictive, it seems everyone that played a roomscale game with my headset did the same, it was clockwise or counter depending on left handed or right
I once decided I would just toss my cord up over the ceiling fan since the fan wasn't on and I didn't have a pulley system, midway through a game of Pavlov I forgot my cord was wrapped around a fan blade and I bent down to pick up a gun....
But yea that foolhardy endeavor aside, I just don't see any situation where a ceiling fan is going to allow for raised cables, unless you were using some kind of microphone stands (or similar) to raise the cable above you while still remaining below the fan, assuming your ceilings are even that high as most probably aren't.
it was not suppose to be a simple shoelace in the ceiling
anything from badge reels or elastic tape you can buy as office supplies
and even professionally made system specific for VR like Cheezus Crisp suggested
either your cable or the ceiling fan you had, they would not be cheap to fix or buy a new one, that I know
but one is mass produced and get be found at any home and garden hardware store
the one can only be bought online or at affiliated store and have a lot more electronic component crammed inside that it suppose to be able to
either way, you should not happy-hazardly do improvised stuff without testing thoroughly beforehand, or asking for people with more experience for help
it did turned out you where the "I'll test it out so you don't have to" in this situation
