SteamVR error on start with Pico neo 3 link in DP mode
When my Pico neo 3 link is connected via Displayport, SteamVR shows error "422" on start and suggests a restart. SteamVR is not working.

Pico link software on the PC is running and confirms USB and DP connection.
Pico link software on the HMD is also running with DP mode enabled.
In the display I can see windows desktop, so DP ist transmitting signal to the HMD.
SteamVR finds an active Display with controllers, but still starts with error 422 and not working.
I tried different DP outputs and USB ports, always the same.
I reinstalled SteamVR, no change.
SteamVR in WiFi mode is working fine.

Any ideas?
Thank you!

Thanks for your reply!
SteamVR and Pico link are installed in the same partition, both in default installation paths, but it does not work.

I have the same issue again. Solved it once by removing my second monitor (normally I have a 2 display setup).
But after installing Pico Link via Steam (I wanted to have automatic updates) it doesn't work anymore and I'm not able to fix it.

I've reinstalled Pico Link App (also without Steam), SteamVR, restarted PC, tried different DP ports etc.
But still error 422 is shown. Very frustrating.

vrcompositor.txt shows following error:
Headset display is on desktop
Invalid adapter output specified! (-1) 887A0002
Failed to init graphics device

Any idea what I can try?

Can you submit a support ticket and attach a SteamVR system report? To create a report: in the little SteamVR window, click the system icon (three horizontal lines), then 'Create System Report.' In the new window, click 'Save to File.' Post a reply here after you've done that and I can go look up the ticket.

Sorry for the late reply, just noticed your answers.
To clear things up: My problem was solved by updating the driver of my graphics card.

the same problem, I noticed that steam vr was updated before that, I tried everything that the author of the post did, nothing helps. The symptoms are all the same. Played yesterday and everything was fine.
