Vive Trackers lose tracking
I cant find anything on this and wonder if someone has a fix. Basically i have 3 trackers, my hip tracker will randomly stop tracking, to regain tracking i have to move so that tracker is pointing at the opposite Base station. Its back and forth never constantly the same. Both base stations are using a Sync cable, i have tried all modes. Im out of ideas its become annoying and this goes for any tracker at any point in time. Its usually fine if the tracker can be seen by both base stations, But i move around allot in my play space.

Are all your Tracker dongles connected to the same USB host? I cannot remember exactly why, but having more than two on a single host (like a hub/cluster in a motherboard) causes issues. So if you have not already, try to spread them out across clusters of ports on your machine.

I thought that as well, so i did that. Didnt change anything either. Only 1 Reciver is on the motherboard the other 2 are on seperate usb Cards.

I am having this EXACT same issue. Have you found a solution for this yet?

yea i kinda did. it was a mix of recievers to close to eachother, so there 2 feet apart and basically, my trackers can see them.. The major other issue i had was some reflective surfaces i didnt think were reflective.. My tracking is basically issue free now.

The dongles you mean? The stubby USB things for the trackers? Also how big were those reflective surfaces? I thought I covered everything, but I left small things like metal door hinges, lamp stands, etc

Nevermind, I found the culprits! Thank you for the replies! It did turn out to be unsuspecting reflective surfaces
